    Basic Information

    These screw spikes, also called threaded rail spikes, are core anchoring components of EU/US standard compliant rail fastening systems. They are specifically designed to firmly lock base plates, elastic clip assemblies, and other parts to pre-embedded sleeves in concrete sleepers, effectively preventing displacement of the entire fastening system under repeated dynamic train loads.

    EU Standard Compliance Conforming to EN 13481-2 and EN 14399. Forged from Grade 4.8/8.8 high-carbon steel with metric sizes M16 to M27. Compatible with Pandrol Fastclip and Vossloh SKL systems.
    North American Market Following AREMA Chapter 5 regulations. Standard imperial sizes with 5/8’’ to 1’’ diameters, supporting heavy-haul freight lines with up to 40t axle-loads.
    Performance & Longevity Minimum shear strength of 750MPa. Passed 5 million dynamic load cycles. Service life exceeds 30 years with extreme temperature resistance from -45℃ to 75℃.

    All products are treated with Dacromet or hot-dip galvanized anti-corrosion coatings, passing 1200+ hour neutral salt spray tests. For electrified lines, insulated coated versions are available, providing ≥12MΩ insulation resistance to avoid railway signal interference. Custom thread specifications, lengths, and surface treatments are available for special project demands.
